Peter is 11 months now! Growing up so fast...keeping Momma on her toes! He still is trying to push his first tooth through. It's decided to take it's good 'ol time! He is pushing his little car and our bar stools around, about to walk on his own. He crawls so fast - he's my little "bug"! He will be a ring-bearer soon in his Auntie Nana's (Johanna's) wedding. Can't wait to see he and William in their tuxes and Katelynne in her beautiful little flower girl dress. And Johanna, of course, as the beautiful bride! We have been reflecting on what was happening a year ago...not knowing the surprise God had in store for us. We are planning a little family birthday party for Peter, to be held on my 31st birthday. Funny how down I was about turning 30 and not having children...only to see what God was doing "behind the scenes" in Peter Henry being born 3 days after my 30th! What a year this has been! Just goes to show we never know what God has in store. His ways are so much better then anything we could imagine. It's so hard to keep the big picture in mind, so easy to get bogged down in the matters of today. Psalm 136 says over and over "...for His steadfast love endures forever." THIS we can cling to and ONLY THIS can we count on as a sure, unwavering, unchanging certainty in this world of uncertainty.
