Looking forward...

One of my friends from childhood has just become an official foster parent of a 6 month old little girl. They are hoping to officially adopt her... it has been a blessing to see their story unfold. The beauty of adoption, of loving someone that steals your heart so quickly, even though you have never met before. Of course seeing my friend and her family go through this process has made me dream even more of when it will be our turn to pour our hearts and love into our precious gift(s) from God. We are thankful to God that He is faithful and I am thankful for the reminder in BSF yesterday that "God is at work in the circumstances of our lives." What a timely reminder. We may feel like nothing is happening but God sees the big picture and things ARE happening! We will see someday what He was doing during our wait. Prayers are constantly being shot up to God for our precious child(ren). He can care for them better then we ever could. He loves them more than we ever will be able to. We are praying that God will be molding us into who we need to be. Yes, our turn will come. We wait as God weaves.
